《Tutti in C》
ピンボールマシンのようにも見える本作品は、多様な人々が協働しながら演奏することができる楽器です。球とフリッパー部品にNSK 製品が使用され、球が跳ね返るごとに音を奏でます。11月19 日には、スズキユウリとSLOW LABELと共にフリッパーを組み立て、音楽を作るワークショップを行います。

This artwork looks like a pinball machine but is in fact a musical instrument that can be played collaboratively. The balls and flippers use products manufactured by NSK. When the balls bounce around the device, they make sounds. On November 19th, Yuri Suzuki and Slow Label will hold a workshop to assemble the flippers and make music.

1980年東京生まれ。ロンドン在住。明和電機で5年間のアシスタントを経て、2006年文化庁新進芸術家海外留学制度により、ロンドンのロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート(RCA)に入学した。「音楽とテクノロジー」をテーマに作品制作を行い、現在はサウンドアーティスト、プロダクトデザイナーとして活動する一方母校のRCAで教鞭を執る。近年のプロジェクトに「Juke Box meets Tate Britain」（Tate Britain、ロンドン、2013-14）「Garden of Russolo」（Victoria and Albert Museum、ロンドン、2013）などがある。自身の作品「color chaser」と「Ototo」２点がMoMA永久収蔵品に選定される。
Yuri Suzuki
Born in Tokyo in 1980,.Yuri Suzuki is now based in London. After five years as an assistant at Maywa Denki, he studied at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London on the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists in 2006. Alongside his work as a sound artist and a product designer exploring the intersection between music and technology, he also teaches at RCA. His recent exhibitions include “Juke Box meets Tate Britain” (Tate Britain, London, 2013-14) and “Garden of Russolo” (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 2013). Two of his designs (color chaser, Ototo) are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

2009年、アーティストと福祉施設による新しいものづくり「横浜ランデヴープロジェクト」からSLOW LABELが誕生。翌年、アーティストがデザインした”道具”や”技法”を用い、ものづくりを通じて多様な人々が交流するSLOW FACTORYを開始する。国内外で活躍するアーティストと企業・福祉施設を繋げ、特色を活かした新しい「モノづくり」と「コトづくり」に取り組む。

Slow Label was launched in 2009 out of Yokohama Rendez-vous Project, which develops new products in partnership with artists and welfare facilities. In 2010, Slow Label started Slow Factory, a series of events utilizing tools and techniques designed by artists to encourage interchange between different kinds of people through crafts. Harnessing a network of international artists, corporations and welfare facilities, Slow Label creates new designs, concepts, and connections.
